Buzz is on every Tuesday morning from 10am-11:30am during school terms.
Our team are all volunteers from St George’s Anglican Church. Some of us are qualified preschool educators or music teachers, using our skills to serve our local community, and some of us are highly experienced mums and grandparents!
We really want BUZZ Music & Play to be a fun, safe, educational and welcoming place for you to spend quality time with your child and connect with other families in your community. We’d also love to share a little of the amazing love of God. We welcome parents, grandparents and carers, with their preschool-aged children, from any background or faith.
We encourage adult participation with children in a wide range of learning experiences.
It’s also a great opportunity for parents and grandparents and carers to meet and talk over morning tea.
Our program looks a bit like this:
- 10am Art & Play Time: colouring, drawing, playing, painting and Kids’ Snack Time
- 10:30am Music Time and Story Time: singing, dancing, music appreciation, instruments, coordination, rhythm and rhyme… and more! We offer (and teach) AUSLAN Key Word Signing for some songs and the story.
- 11am Free play (climbing, jumping, imaginary play) and Adult’s Morning Tea (and a chance to have grown-up conversations!)
Each family is asked to contribute $3 per week to cover materials, or $25 per term.
Please bring a healthy snack for your child for morning tea, if you wish (not to share).
Adults Morning Tea, with fresh locally roasted coffee, a wide range of teas and some yummy homemade treats, will be provided by us!
Let us know your dietary requirements. We will have soy and lactose-free milk available.
We currently have NO waiting list – so you are welcome to visit us without reserving your place. However, if you would like extra information please contact the church office
